Amazon Astro tries its best to be the first practical general-purpose personal robot. Unfortunately, outside of some specific use cases arguably better served by other devices, you’ll likely struggle to find uses for it.

Here’s What We Like

• It's cool to have a roving robot in the home
• A mobile security drone for Ring users
• An Alexa on wheels

And What We Don't

• Not much of its own personality
• Battery life is poor with constant charging
• Few compelling features without Ring security service
• Still an experiment
